Before I developed GHL Pro Themes, I was completely overwhelmed by the “traditional” way of doing things in HighLevel.

I’ll be honest… I quit HighLevel three times in my first two years, even after two decades in design and marketing. Not because I didn’t believe in the platform, but because I was drowning in snapshots that were either way too generic or painfully overwhelming. I spent countless hours stitching together funnels, rewriting placeholder copy, wrestling with automations, and still ending up with projects that felt overbuilt for what my local clients actually needed.

To make matters worse, I struggled with the same things you probably do: attracting good website clients, creating polished sites fast enough to stay profitable, and trying to deliver “full builds” that looked impressive without burning myself out.

And even when I did get traction and close projects, it came with a cost. Every site became a one-off custom build. Scope creep, endless revisions, and bloated setups that my clients didn’t really use. It felt like I was stuck in a never-ending loop I never signed up for.

That’s when I stepped back, questioned everything, and went back to what I know best: simple, high-converting websites for local businesses.
